Welcome to my Blog!
My name is Kimberly Anne. I grew up in southern California in a very small home. I shared a bedroom with my two sisters. We always had food and a yard to play in. My mother took pictures of us standing on the front porch in the matching dresses that she had sewn. My parents sent us to a Christian School from first grade through high school. I am the oldest. I never felt poor. I always felt loved.
I’m still living a modest lifestyle. Maybe getting a degree should have been more important to my husband and me than getting married and having children. There is no going back. What matters to me more than a fancy house, jewelry, and fancy cars is being raised in a Christian family and passing that on to my children and grandchildren. I accept that God has a plan for me. Sometimes, the pathway for that plan isn’t quite the way I would have done it, but my confidence remains in God.
I’m over sixty and facing lots of future decisions. The last 40 years have been full of ups and downs that have made me the person I am today. Do I feel 60+? Not most days, but sometimes my arthritis kicks in.
I am terrible about exercising and eating healthy food. Anything chocolate, especially dark chocolate, is my favorite food. I love my two children, their spouses, and my husband, but when it comes down to it, it’s the five grandchildren that make me the happiest.
Come along with me on this journey. I will share the knowledge that I have accumulated over the years. Let’s enjoy what is yet to come together.

I am 64 years old. I relate so much to your words as they reflect the same live and devotion I have for God and my children and granddaughters. Though my road I made more difficult than it needed to be. I find that my senior years have me quieter, observant, reflective and at peace with my life We could be friends, I wish your family the best of life.
Darenda, we could be friends. I feel there are a lot of people out there that are so special. And I’m thankful for God and the role he has played in my life. It hasn’t always been perfect, but I know He is always there, watching over me and my family.
Hi Kimberly,
I was very moved by your blog post on Human Trafficking. Do you send out an email with a link to your latest posts? I’m electronically challenged! I have written a book on human suffering – a piece of fiction, that is creating a little bit of interest with a few. After reading your post, I thought it might be something that would interest you. Do visit http://www.stardust-books.com if you’re interested.
Richard,
I do have an email list. I send out my newsletter only every other week. Tomorrow is the next one. You would get updates on the blog, updates on my book, and miscellaneous. I don’t promise updates on every post. I have a Bible verse on Mondays, and on Wednesdays, I try to have something more substantial, like the Human Trafficking post. If you go to this link, you will find a form to sign up for my email list. https://growingoldereveryday.com/your-vote-counts-november-2022/ I’m not savvy either when it comes to tech. I’m happy that you were moved by the post. It’s one of those things that I will always remain passionate about. Thank you.
